Budzinski Launches 2024 Valentines for Veterans Program

SPRINGFIELD, IL — Today, Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski (IL-13) announced the launch of her 2024 “Valentines for Veterans” program, encouraging families across Central and Southern Illinois to show appreciation for local veterans by making homemade Valentine’s Day cards. Congresswoman Budzinski and her team will distribute the cards to veterans throughout Illinois’ 13th Congressional District.

“Last year, it was so heartwarming to see our Valentines for Veterans program bring smiles to the faces of our local heroes,” said Congresswoman Budzinski. “I’m thrilled to be launching this program again to thank the veterans who have put their lives on the line to protect our country. I encourage folks from across Illinois 13th Congressional District to participate by mailing or dropping off homemade cards to my offices in Belleville, Champaign and Springfield.”

The deadline to submit cards to Congresswoman Budzinski’s office is Friday, February 9th. Cards can be dropped off or mailed to Congresswoman Budzinski’s Belleville, Champaign and Springfield offices.
