SPRINGFIELD, IL — Today, Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski announced the start of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition for high school students in Illinois 13th Congressional District. The winning submission will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year, alongside artwork from congressional districts across the country.
“Every year, students from across the country submit entries for the Congressional Art Competition, and I’m excited to launch my very first contest for students in Illinois 13th Congressional District,” said Congresswoman Budzinski.“I look forward to seeing the talent and creativity of students in Central and Southern Illinois and bringing the winning piece with me to Washington to display in the U.S. Capitol.”
